These caps are natively woven manually by the rural women of Jigawa in Northern Nigeria. The ones in this shop are specially made for us by the artisans and we supervise the process from weaving to finishing. All the caps are a premium quality, but come in grades. You will find less expensive ones in my shop. The two listed here are the highest grade available anywhere, and take about a couple of weeks to weave one by hand, before the finishing process even begins, hence the higher price point.
