Yaji comes in many different flavours, there's "red yaji" which is the hottest, garlic yaji, brown yaji, even meat yaji, among others. I have stock of the original and the brown varieties. The original is versatile and could be used for anything, it blends in well. The brown contains added spices like daddawa, eggplant (dahta), and higher proportions of others contained in the original flavour. They all taste great, but the brown is mostly used for soups or gravies meant for "tuwo".
